Peggy Gou - 'I Hear You' LP (Blue Vinyl)

I Hear You is the highly anticipated debut album from Peggy Gou, arriving on XL Recordings. Rising from underground sensation to global icon through her unwavering creative vision, the South Korean-born, Berlin-based producer has become one of the world’s most in-demand electronic musicians and DJs.

After performing to more than one million people worldwide in 2023, Gou continues to break barriers as the first Korean DJ to play Berghain, the first female DJ to headline Ushuaïa Ibiza, and the first woman in over 20 years to reach the Top 10 of DJ Mag’s annual Top 100 list.

Since 2016, she has crafted a singular sound that blends forward-thinking club music with nostalgic influences, breaking through globally with the 2018 Once EP featuring hits “It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)” and “Han Jan.” Through her music and design label Gudu, she released the critically acclaimed 2019 Moment EP, launched her Kirin and Peggy Goods fashion lines, and sold out her London Pleasure Gardens festival for four consecutive years.

This album includes the global smash “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” the international song of the summer in 2023, which topped singles charts in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Greece, as well as the Billboard Dance Airplay chart. Also featured is “I Believe in Love Again,” her collaboration with Lenny Kravitz. Across the LP, Gou boldly claims her voice through a kaleidoscopic lens of ’90s house music.

She has also collaborated with house legend Maurice Fulton on “Jigoo,” South Korean artist OHHYUK on “Nabi,” and remixed Kylie Minogue’s iconic “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” Dubbed “the world’s hippest DJ” by The Guardian, Gou has appeared on the covers of Vogue Germany, Vanity Fair Italia, GQ Middle East and Korea, and Harper’s Bazaar Malaysia, while collaborating with brands including Louis Vuitton, Hyundai, Ray-Ban, Samsung, and Authentic Beauty Concept.
